Michelle joined the VFW Auxiliary in November 2006 under the eligibility of her father who served in Viet Nam. She became a Life Member in 2009. Michelle has served as Trustee of Auxiliary 6714, President of Chicopee Auxiliary 625, and currently holds the office of Chaplain/Trustee of Auxiliary 625.

On the District level, Michelle serves as District 7 President for her third term, having won District President of the Year honors for both 2020-2021 and 2021-2022.

On the Department level, Michelle has served as Americanism Chairman/Patriotic Instructor, Youth Activities Chairman, Buddy Poppy/National Home Chairman, and Veterans & Family Support Chairman. She was awarded first place at National Convention as Youth Activities Chairman 2019-2020 and as Veterans & Family Support Chairman in 2021-2022.

Michelle is a life member of the VFW National Home for Children and a chapter member of the Fraternal Order of the Moose. She resides in West Springfield with her husband, Tom and her son, Cam. Her mom Deb, sister Teresa, and husband Tom are all members of the VFW Auxiliary and Cam will join on his 16^th birthday in the coming year. Michelle is employed as Office Manager for New England Uniform.

In her spare time, she volunteers with her church (serving as Treasurer on the church Council), the Boy Scouts, her son’s school, and the Philanthropic Group for the Education of Women P.E.O.
