Theresa joined the Auxiliary under the eligibility of her husband, MSgt. Patrick Logue, Jr., USAF Retired, who served in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield and retired after 20 years of active military service. She is a life member of Solomon Auxiliary 8819 in North Billerica and also the daughter of Purple Heart recipient, Reno Max Shadley who served in England and France during WWII.

When Patrick joined the Solomon VFW Post 8819, Theresa discovered that they did not have an Auxiliary. With the help of the Post Commander and his wife and Past Dept. President BJ Mire, Theresa was able to recruit enough new members to reinstate their Auxiliary.  Theresa has been their President since the Auxiliary was instituted. She also assumed the duties of Secretary in 2017 and continues to hold that office today. On the District level, Theresa has held the office of Guard and has served as District 15 Treasurer since 2017.

Theresa has served as Department Patriotic Instructor, Americanism Chairman, Membership Chairman, Department Chief of Staff for two years, and State President's Special Project Chairman and State President’s Pin Chairman. As Chief of Staff for PDP Beth Barrett, Theresa was instrumental in instituting Tewksbury Auxiliary 8164 despite the restrictions of the pandemic. She currently serves as the  Finance Chairman.

Theresa is very active in her community serving on the Billerica Scholarship Foundation and as a Founding Member of the Town’s Electronic Voting Committee. She also helps out on local election days and volunteers at the Bedford VAMC.

Theresa is employed by the US Army Civilian Human Resources Agency as a Human Resources Assistant having moved to that position from Office Automation Specialist for the US Army Corps of Engineers. She is a recipient of the Armed Forces Civilian Service Medal, awarded to USACE employees for duty of a "prolonged humanitarian nature” for COVID-19 support or operations. 

Theresa and her husband, Patrick have been married for over 30 years and have 3 children, all members of Auxiliary 8819, and 3 grandchildren.
