Carlyjane joined the VFW Auxiliary in 1995 under the eligibility of her deceased father, Cdr. Theodore Y. Dunn, Jr. Cdr. Dunn was a ‘mustang’ who served in the US Navy for 30 years. During the first 22 years of her life, Carlyjane was abroad from Panama to London, with 13 stops in between including Hawaii, Puerto Rico and three tours of duty in Washington D.C. where they lived in Falls Church, VA, her adopted hometown. She is a Life Member of the Ludlow VFW Auxiliary 3236, District 7, and of the VFW National Home for Children. She resides in Amherst, MA, with her peace time veteran husband George G. Watson, Jr. Carlyjane currently serves as Dept. Chairman for the Mentoring For Leadership Program.
